Do Not Use This Company!!!!!

We recently used this company (if you want to call it that) to build a flag stone patio and build some steps. This was probably the worst job I have ever seen done. The owner/contractor gave us a reasonable quote to do the job but half way through the project he realized he needed twice as much stone to complete the job. Instead of takeing the hit himself for not quoting the job properly we had to foot the bill for an additional $1000. We accepted that as long as the job got done. Well, the job was completed but completed very poorly. Usually any hardscaper who knows anything makes sure that there is a slope away from the house - this was not done....water was running right towards the house in several places. The motar joints failed after one rain. Even better, when he installed the steps he crushed our gutters in two places with the risers for the steps. I called him to ask him to make it right and he said I don't know what to tell you the steps are motared in. He said he would come out and look and never showed. So I had to dig up the steps and replace the gutter pipe he crushed. I also have to take up the entire patio, compact it, and lay it sloping away from the house. I would not recomend this company unless you have time enough to do the job over right or money enough to hire someone who knows what they are doing. One more note- it says on his yellow page ad that there is 5 year warranty on all work, we didnt get a five day warranty. Save yourself the frustration and call someone else.
